Free eight week film music course for 16-19yr olds in the borough of Tendring, Essex.

Are you a musician who wants to experiment with writing music for films? Soundtrack is the perfect opportunity to develop new skills and learn from industry professionals. Soundtrack is an 8 week schedule of workshops where you’ll learn to write music for film and animation. Experiment with sound design, create your own Foley and compose a soundtrack with our online workshops.

Soundtrack is for young people aged 16-19 who live in the borough of Tendring.

Soundtrack runs every Thursday 16th Sep to Thursday 11th November, the sessions are 2hrs long running from 5pm – 7pm. Please note these dates are different from those original advertised.

Each session will take place on Zoom. Links will be sent to successful applicants. You will need a computer to take part, unfortunately this course cannot be completed on mobile devices. If you do not have a computer, we can provide one – just let us know on the application form.

What to expect?

Over eight weeks you’ll explore composing in new and exciting ways, learning professional techniques for composition and meeting professionals who work in the industry. Each participant will also work towards earning a Bronze Arts Award, a Level 1 qualification on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).
