CLIP are very excited to launch Mini CLIP, a brand new music club in Colchester, Essex.

Commencing on the 11the October 2023, CLIP are launching Mini CLIP a FREE weekly music club for young people age 11 to 14 at Firstsite Colchester, on term time Wednesdays from 4 – 5pm.

Since 2019, CLIP has provided award winning weekly workshops for children and young people in Colchester and surrounding areas, welcoming participants regardless of their background, self-perceived ability and experience. Thanks to funding from The National Lottery’s Community Fund, we’re excited to be making our sessions even more inclusive, with training for staff on working with young people Special Education Needs, such as those with autism and those with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

With this in mind, miniCLIP is designed to support those with specific needs, whilst building positive mental health and wellbeing of all participants. This project has been made possible with the support of The National Lottery’s Community Fund.

Mini CLIP Sessions will involve experimenting with exciting new music technology, listening and analysing to exciting music and working collaborative in a fun and supportive music environment.
